Konnecta Systems was among the 17-partner consortium that engaged in the first physical plenary meeting of the Horizon Europe project GREEN.DAT.AI (Energy-efficient AI-ready Data Spaces), under the AI, Robotics and DataAssociation aiming to channel the potential of AI towards the goals of the European Green Deal, which was held in Athens on the 9th & 10th of February.

The project will develop novel Energy-Efficient Large-Scale Data Analytics Services, ready-to-use in industrial AI-based systems, whilst reducing the environmental impact of data management processes that will be used in 6 different pilots across energy, agriculture, agrifood, smart green mobility, and banking sectors.

For the purposes of GREEN.DAT.AI, Konnecta is building a hybrid graph database service, focused on IoT use cases, allowing for efficient data and metadata collection, cataloguing, as well as rule-based event detection, across the edge-cloud continuum.
